Some of the benefits of Tai Chi are found in: integrating the mind, body and spirit, improving qi (internal energy) and promoting correct posture. It is also one of the easiest exercises to learn, is inexpensive and can be suitable for any age.
Arthritis
One of the best approaches in controlling arthritis is exercise, as well as appropriate diet and so on. Almost all medical experts’ opinions prefer the natural way of preventing arthritis which is through exercise. This reduces the stiffness thus keeping the joints more flexible. Range-of-motion exercises can help you move joints affected in different directions. By doing Tai Chi, it will increase a person’s flexibility.
3. Posture
Promoting the correct posture through exercises is proven to decrease the wearing of muscles and joints.
4. Fitness
Cardio-respiratory exercises or fitness exercises are those that help in strengthening the lungs and heart and increasing stamina. The tissues and joints need an adequate supply of oxygen for rejuvenation and healing.
Through Tai Chi, improved circulation and lung function is achieved which in return will keep the muscles strong and joints flexible.
